TEHRAN - Tehran Friday prayer leader Ahmad Khatami said the recent measures by Israel shows that this regime is seeking to Judaize East Beit-ul-Moqadds by destroying Al-Qods.

“The criminal Zionists, through their plans, intend to destroy Beit-ul-Moqadds as the first qibla of Muslims,” Khatami told worshippers on Friday.
He said even in negotiations between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian Authority it had been agreed that East Beit-ul-Moqaddas to remain part of Palestine but “Zionists are judaizing this sacred place.”
Beit-ul-Moqaddas is an inseparable part of Islam and the “Islamic world cannot remain indifferent toward” it, the cleric noted.
He added the “lying” U.S. President Barack Obama claimed that he held a different view toward the occupied territories but he is acting like his “criminal” predecessors. He said Obama’s approach toward Palestine has turned out to be like his “fake change slogan”.
He pointed to the agonies of Palestinians held up in the Gaza Strip, saying more than 1000 days have passed since Israel has been preventing shipment of food and medicine into the territory but international bodies are standing idle by.
The cleric predicted that such humiliating behaviors by Zionist criminals would reignite a “third intifada” in the occupied territories which will submerge Israel altogether
